Simple Peony Birthday

Another card made with "card parts" from my Group Gathering. The peony and the sentiment were both cut with Memory Box dies. It's hard to tell, but the orange part of the peony is cut from patterned paper. The background is patterned paper from a Recollections pad.

Thanks so much for stopping by, and I hope you'll come back and visit again soon!

The flower makes such a great focal point for the card. It really doesn't need anything else, does it? I have two of those to use from D.M.

Love the contrast between the bold flower and the delicate background, Lynette. You've got a real eye for this sort of thing! Fabulous.

Thanks for your lovely comment - but pop back to my blog and see what they did today! I am mega thrilled with how my ARTHaven is turning out.

Thanks so much for your latest comment, Lynette. Yes, I'm greatly relieved at the result of the test, even if it did diagnose a chronic condition. At least something can be done to help now. Glad you like my new ARThaven - it really is looking great, isn't it! I can't believe it's real yet!

Love this card. Flowers are one of my favorite stamps to buy. I too am soooooo addicted to stamping but wish I could get a group together where I live. Very rural and long distance to travel for most. But I will keep trying. TY for this blog and I am glad to have found it.
